CFC

In 1998, Hālau O ‘Aulani, designation number 87112became a participant in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of the National Capital Area. This is the federal workforce’s annual fundraising effort for charity. CFC allows Federal Government employees, both civilian and military, to specifically designate their contributions to a variety of national and local charitable organizations.

Hālau O ‘Aulani (“School of Messengers”) was established in 1996 to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture through its students, the “messengers” who carry forward Hawai’i’s rich heritage and spirit of aloha. The school provides a unique learning environment consisting of classroom training and instruction in dance, chants, music, language, values and customs, history, and arts and crafts.

Our students showcased their knowledge and skills to audiences at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap and the Smithsonian museums, and cultural events throughout the region.

Hālau O ‘Aulani needs your kokua (help). If you are a Federal employee, please consider our school as you make your CFC contributions. And whether or not you are a Federal employee, please tell your friends and neighbors who work for the Federal Government about Hālau O ‘Aulani and the great things we are accomplishing in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Hālau O ‘Aulani’s designation number is 87112. Please consider Hālau O ‘Aulani when making your Combined Federal Campaign designation. On behalf of the haumana (students), mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for your continued support!
